As an exercise I made the "smallest" FC3 CD image possible that installs, boots normal, brings up net, and can use yum. There are no broken dependencies. It uses 95 megs of RPMs. The full CD image is 288 megs, due to size of Fedora/base/*.img which could also be shrunk.
