There is nothing I can recommend. But if you asked for a hack...:

 * if /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-rawhide.repo exists, it is rawhide
 * else if grep 'enabled=1' /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates-testing.repo then it is branched rawhide (F29) which was not
released yet. When there is a release this repo is disabled.
