[lastpass-cli] Request to take over abandoned package

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

The LastPass CLI package is badly outdated, with 2 major bugs.

It seems the EPEL package was abandoned ~2016
I have emailed the maintainer (Tom Prince) directly just to confirm, and have not hard back.

I've also opened a bug here with the details:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1564211

I've been working with the developers at LogMeIn (owns LastPass) to discover and fix these bugs. They have already been fixed in the source. The developers have no interest in maintaining an EPEL package -- I would like to take over the package, along side with Steve Huff.

This is my official request as per:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Orphaned_package_that_need_new_maintainers?rd=PackageMaintainers/OrphanedPackages

I have also announced here:
https://pagure.io/releng/issue/7435

Thanks,
-Ventz
