I notice upstream offers VM, Docker and Snap downloads prominently, for server. But they also offer the client as flatpak: https://help.nextcloud.com/t/linux-packages-status/10216 I didn't spend much time looking but was unable to find v10 and v11 VM's as maybe an easy way to upgrade from v10 to v11, and v11 to v12.
