The latest selinux policy update threw me for a loop this week. It seems to have caused NIS to stop functioning altogether. This seems bad, but I don't know if it was intentional.
What messages do you get in /var/log/messages? There is one problem with all but the latest version of dhcp which created yp.conf files incorrectly (see bz 147926). Beside that I don't think anything else is known. Only looking at the messages will help to say more.
