There isn't any specific issue.

Toolchain updates always carry some risk, and we already have enough moving parts due to GCC 8 and other low-level changes that landed in rawhide recently.

Hmm, IMO, GCC + binutils updates are an ideal candidate to be pushed simultaneously and an ideal opportunity for a mass rebuild.
