Agreed.

I can perhaps put a workaround in redhat-rpm-config, which should make it
much less likely that this compiler bug is encountered.

Should I avoid building my packages on rawhide until that workaround
is done? This seems kinda late in the cycle to be playing compiler
whack-a-mole...

rawhide should have a workaround in place, see my other message.
