I'm mostly in favor of this, but as the perpetrator of the current hardening flag hack in r-r-c, I really do wish there was a better way to set these defaults than -specs=blah. The current implementation is fragile and leaks out to the rest of the OS in weird ways. I'm aware that fixing this "sanely" would probably require fixing the toolchain to (allow us to) declare more intent about the destination of an ET_REL object when it's being built; fine, let's do that. Is anyone looking at this change from that perspective? - ajax _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
