which is a data problem, maintaining magic with the latest and greatest rules, so
that the appropriate rules are used and included in metadata when packages are built.
Try
file your-favorite-PIE-executable
rpm gets the same answer as file, for exactly the same reasons.Patches cheerfully accepted!
