Try opening it from terminal with an editor of your choice. If it opens up, you can create a menu entry for it.

- can you see multiple detections of Krita and Rhythmbox?

- also, I think is more right to told us: "Try to open with application" not "Open With Other Application";

- I don't see any editor into that list.
