Well the debuginfo trick would have been a quick way to get a
stacktrace, but sure, if there are any VMs available that would also
work.
There are public access POWER servers available, but IIRC you have
to fill in a form to apply for them.

Thanks. I'll try building in COPR which has ppc64le with gdb + debuginfo
packages added from an external repo, and if that does not work I'll
look at the other options.
