        Just to quickly clarify something.
        

        If no storage driver is specified right now and
          /var/lib/docker is btrfs the btrfs driver then gets used
          automatically.
        

        Will I need to be aware of any specific
          configuration changes on my btrfs workstations to avoid
          breakage and keep things working as they are?

    Docker should realize a previous uses backing store and continue to
    use it.  This should only effect fresh installs or systems where
    someone does an

    
    atomic storage reset.
