Also you can note this is supported by the RPM Fusion community, based on your work: http://rpmfusion.org/Howto/nVidia_Optimus BTW, I've haven't received any answear back about modsetting conflicts with nvidia. I think modesetting should disable any accel (glamor,exa) as soon a the nvidia glx is loaded. And not to rely on any specific configuration file about that (that will need to be enaled/disabled back and forth if the driver switch is implemented between FOSS/proprietary driver).
