I've seen that as well... I m not sure where the problem is off hand,
or even if it is uploading twice or just giving a progress bar for
checksumming. Needs more investigation...

I don't think that the first progress bar is only for checksumming, it
takes the same time to reach 100% than the second progress bar.
I will try to run the 'new-sources' command with the '--verbose' or the
'--debug' option next time to see what's going on.
