It appears Gnome Software fails to list fonts using validated metainfo xml following upstream appstream standard (https://freedesktop.org/software/appstream/docs/sect-Metadata-Fonts.html) I already file a bug (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1387403).
