The truth is that the script for the review awards will need to be written almost from a scratch and it seems to be a longer shot from where we are now. As a lazy programmer, I need to cheer for the stats being sent to the list :).

Yep. It could, but again badges will only be there if someone goes
seeking them out. A weekly status email would be much more visible to
folks on this list.
