Unfortunately, yeah. Given how Pungi 4 works we can't really re-run composes and stick the images together, since each compose is itself an actual artifact with baked-in metadata which would be incorrect if we manually stuffed rebuilt images into a compose tree, and the compose metadata is imported into PDC and various other things trigger off the compose process which would be messed up by re-runs.
