There are a number of people that work with spin-kickstarts. (Though not all of us work on all aspects of it.) The bug you referenced doesn't have much in the way of details, but does seem to refer to some other comments somewhere that isn't obvious in the bug. Note there is a freeze for Fedora 24, so making changes in that branch aren't likely to be applied before the release.
