But... we don't really permit conflicts, and especially not for this

There has to be a better way to do this.  Alternatives would be one way,
I guess, except that I don't know if it applies to libraries.  Using a
different soname and patching python-pycurl to use the maximal module if
present and the minimal module otherwise would be another possibility,
assuming it's even doable.
