Same feeling here, just haven't managed to fix it.
For the moment, you can just clone with:
fedpkg clone rpms/freefem++
And working from this clone should work fine.
Cloning works, I just can't push to this package's git.
When using a remote with the rpms namespace?
So git remote -v returns something like:
ssh://corsepiu@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/rpms/freefem++
?
