The problem is caused by making the -static sub-pkg noarch. Why are static libs packaged anyways? There is an unversioned so-lib in the arch'ed main-package, besides a c-compiled python-module and ~ 4MBytes of stuff in /usr/share, etc… Making the -devel package noach can be problematic, too…

Just findings from a quick glance on the built packages…
