If the logistical cost of stand-alone modules inside Core is too burdensome, I'm fine with fedora project stating that stand alone kernel modules wont be allow even in Extras and all modules will be included in the Core kernel as a matter of policy. But i think its not equitable to push a deep logistical problem out of Core into Extras, especially since some of the work to make stand-alone kernel modules easier to package are probably going to require changes to how the kernel is packaged inside Core. And i want to see that dialog as part of the development tree testing process instead of push outside of Core to languish. -jef
