Hi everyone,

I switched to Fedora last October and found that `xss-lock` is not
packaged. It does not depend on much so I packaged it and just filed a
[review bug][1]. There I am looking for a sponsor since this is my first
Fedora package.

Now a bit about myself: I am a theoretical physicist (currently in the
Master's programme) from Germany. My main interest is computational
physics. Last summer my appetite for supercomputing was whetted at the
Jülich supercomputing centre.

Linux is my OS of choice to do my work, that is programming Python and
C++, preparing documents in LaTeX and everything else. Since 2009 I have
used Ubuntu but decided to try out Fedora because of current software
and effortless upgrades (rpmnew/rpmsave) as well as a couple [other
reasons][2].

So far I am very happy with Fedora and I would like to contribute a
little bit :-).

Regards,

Martin Ueding
