Hi,

I'm sure if this is caused by me, or it's a bug, or something else.

I upgraded my hardware last week, and suddenly I'm no longer able to rip cd's with Grip, dekagen, etc.
The new HW is Asus P4R800-VM (ATI 9100 chipset), a P4 3GhZ, and 2 GB Ram.

If I try with Grip or Sound Juicer the sustem locks up immidialty, if I use dekagen I can rip 1 CD, and then if I try with another one cdparanoia lock's up the system after 'verifying CDDA command set...'

I'm running FC3 with all updates installed.

I don't want to be rude or anything, but I think this is somewhat
offtopic for this list....

You're probably right, but I found a bug (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=134558) which kind of resembles this problem, but not quite.

If you're right I will humbly go away.....

BTW: The chipset is a IXP200.

Regards/Casper
