Hello

Got bug #1266181 filed about apitrace.i686 missing in the x86_64
repos.
The reporter probably meant apitrace-libs.i686, which in the past was
indeed installable on x86_64. Any ideas what the reasons can be that
the package disappeared? Suppose something about the "mash" step, but
that's as far as I get.
The way multilib works is that mash will get all the *-devel packages
from i686 and add them to the x86_64 repository, along with all their
dependencies.

In your case, you apitrace package doesn't generate any -devel
subpackage.

If it did, mash would include it for multilib, and as the -devel
packages usually depend on the -libs package, the -libs would also get
included.

Thanks for the explanation. Hmm so I suppose I was mistaken about apitrace-libs.i686 being available on x86_64 in the past, since apitrace never had a -devel package. Is there any other option short of introducing a dummy -devel package?
