Hi all,
I'm Marco Driusso. I'm a PhD student in communications engineering in University of Trieste, north east of Italy.
Welcome!
I've just sent a review request for a package of IT++, a nice C++ library widely used in research in communication systems and signal processing. This library used to be packaged in Fedora, but it's quite a lot that the packet is not maintained anymore. Talking about this in #fedora, randomuser convinced me to try to become the maintainer, and here I am :) The review request is https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1264686 , help and reviews from any of you is very much appreciated. This is my first package, hence I also need a sponsor.
I've never been involved in free software development, but I'd like to, and hope this is a good point where to start. From when I started using Fedora (roughly 2 years ago), I try to give my contribute as much as I can, submitting bugs and testing fixes.
I really hope to be able to join this community and help in developing this awesome OS.
All the best,
Marco
