Hi Derek!

It's a really interesting use case you have. It's just not one the
Fedora live stuff was ever designed for. The live stuff was built for a
different time and has been kept working, but never really radically
overhauled or improved to address the kind of use case you're going
for.

What I'd suggest might work out well would be to blog and/or write to
devel@ about the scenario you want to make work, and see if you can get
a couple of other folks enthused about it, then see if you can come up
with changes that will improve the situation and maybe post up a proof
-of-concept image somewhere. If you come up with something that looks
workable, it should definitely be possible to get it merged back in -
no-one's against taking improvements!

Of course it's fine to just say 'hey, I'd like if this worked' too, but
then you're effectively hoping that someone else will like the idea
enough to go ahead and work on it, and Fedora folk all tend to have a
list of 'hey, wouldn't it be cool if...' projects as long as their arms
already, so it doesn't always happen...
