Yes, you're right I tought that it was an issue for every graphic Intel chipset, but this issue involve only old Intel video cards...
Anyway the problem with Intel driver does exist, and it's great that it was detected and fixed...

Well, I don't know about the OP, but for me there are no symptoms. I
just get the error at every startup, but the system functions normally
