Replying to nobody in particular, I'd just like to reiterate a couple of points I've made regarding this over the last couple of months:
1. Whilst RH has the responsibility of maintaining 5-7 years of code base, no onus should be placed upon Fedora Core or Extra's maintainers in this regard. Surely you accepted this baggage when spinning off Fedora!!!
2. RH needs to take some clear leadership in regard to making it easy for packagers to provide consistent, homogenious packages. The clearest place to start is by publishing (relatively) definitive macro files. I've spent the last two months agitating for the resolution of bug 120635, Python macros - when will it finally occur to someone as to the merits of this case ????
