This break occurred because of a very late change (April 22) to enable building/running the hadoop ecosystem on ARM. A dependency broke during that set of changes and will need to be looked at. I don't think this package should be retired if it is not able to be fixed by the requested date. It is only broken on ARM. If this isn't fixed soon then the packages should just revert to not building on ARM.
