There've been a couple of posts regarding this over the last couple of months on this list, and we'd like to take this opportunity to coordinate interested parties.
We are about to begin promoting BastionLinux, https://linux.last-bastion.net as a niche Linux distro for enterprise Zope/Plone customers.
We've already an infrastructure comparible to the RHN to make this happen, and this goes much beyond releasing a solitary zope package.
We are intending to offer this to distro providers along the lines of the jpackage.org model if there's interest (we've been promoting the resolution of the python rpm macro bug, 120635, as the first step to facilitating this).
If anybody has any queries or is interested in particating at any level, then please get in touch with me to coordinate our efforts.
