Do you like regular expressions? Do you like regular expressions which
are not regular any more? Do you think PCRE library API looks like
a zombie from previous milenium? Do you want to have a fresh new one in
Fedora?

Whatever your answer to these questions is, PCRE development team
has already released 10th version of PCRE2 and corresponding package
review <https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1194781> is waiting
in the Bugzilla.

I'd very appreciate if somebody picked the review up because upstream
will not maintain the old PCRE forewer
<https://lists.exim.org/lurker/message/20150312.162246.b7c98429.en.html>.

The new package can and will coexist with the old one for some time
(many years). Both packages have the same layout, so the review should
be quite easy. Application are expected to migrate slowly to the new
API.
