Strange. The mirrormanager mirrorlist for images looks good here, and
the images look fine. Ah... it's because they are not signed. 
Re-run with --nogpgcheck? 

fedup could emit a better error here.

This sounds like the lovely dbus bug:

There's some manual workarounds with killing dbus, etc

Which wiki page? which 'app' ?
