I very much recommend you to report these issues (also) to GNOME Bugzilla. GNOME/GTK developers don't follow Red Hat Bugzilla as much as they follow their own.

I've never worked with Linux graphics toolkits, but would it make sense to request that GTK looks at some environment variable and prints all those warnings and obsolete usage notifications and other nonsense only when that variable is set to a concrete value? This way it would not be needed to deal with every warning and every app individually, but we could silence all apps at once, and developers could run them unmuted on their machines to see all the warnings. Does anyone care to report such an RFE, if it makes sense?

It would be nice if such a variable was honored by all different frameworks and libraries, not just GTK-specific, QT-specific, etc, but that's a bit harder to accomplish...
