Well according to the manual page clean_requirements_on_remove defaults to enabled, which means it will try and remove things that had been installed to satisfy the requirements of the other packages being removed.

So it's kind of like doing a combined remove followed by an autoremove with yum, except it possibly limits the autoremove to things which had been installed to satisfy requirements on the things being removed.
