Can you clone the above bug? Then mark Bug 1157727 as a duplicate of
the new one (which is open to all - not "You are not authorized to
access bug #1157727." )

I later created a new bug report for smartmontools as was advised on the ssmtp bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1158493 in order to bring the smartmontools to this discussion
