As why this is done, the %changelog points at early 2014: Add Requires: font(:lang=en) (#1025331, #845712) Let's see: Bug 1025331 - Firefox segfaults on headless systems Huh? Installing any font (whether used or not) may fix that indeed if it crashes because of missing fonts, but it still sounds like an ugly hack. Why not install a basic/useful font? And the other ticket? Bug 845712 - missing base fonts if no DE is installed Well, it has been reopened in April, because it is a display problem and is still reproducible. Obviously, "Math symbol fonts" are not really helpful in that case. -- devel mailing list devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/devel Fedora Code of Conduct: http://fedoraproject.org/code-of-conduct
