Dear Fedorians:

Recently, I was hitting a number of odd behaviours that look like races.
Filed a couple of bugs:

 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1082092
 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1082095

But this feels unsatisfactory, because reproducibility is extremely
low for all cases. Bugs aren't going to cut it.

So, I'm wondering if anyone has an idea where to dig.

Here's what I recall seeing:

 - The audio volume applet does not always react to plugging headphones.
   Re-plug and it goes away.

 - Screensaver forgetting to blank. Move cursor and problem disappears.

 - Applications may not map on screen on start. Click on activity again
   usually fixes the problem.

Well I have seen all of these in the last 2 weeks on Fedora 19 so I am not sure what exactly is going on.  The audio seems to have started with the 3.13 series but I am not exactly sure. The screensaver has happened on and off and as you said it is racy. The applications happens every now and then.. what is even funnier is that the application is running but doesn't seem to be mapped anywhere. Not sure how to better debug any of these issues to help figure out what is going on.
