Request for help with slic3r crash

Hi,
I really need help with fixing a crash in slic3r that bothers me for a
long time.

See https://github.com/alexrj/Slic3r/issues/1636#issuecomment-31219661
and https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1046006

Steps to reproduce:

Run slic3r on F20 from this scratch build:

http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=6603224

1) On Print setting tab, Advanced, Other, Threads enter value > 1 (such
as 2)
2) From File menu select Quick slice...
3) Select any (valid) STL* file
4) Observe the crash

* Get one here: http://churchyard.fedorapeople.org/pypy-test.stl

Upstream cannot reproduce the bug (I guess it's Fedora specific) and is
probably not interested in fixing this.

I guess the crash is happening in Wx.

Thanks for any hint.
