Where? I'm fairly certain I haven't ever suggested putting the ESP on RAID as a sync mechanism, when it's just one file that's usually changing.

I have said anaconda should a.) always create the ESP for us, even in custom partitioning; and b.) always create ESPs on each device selected as part of an install.
