Exactly; we get frequent power cuts where I live, all my filesystems can recover well (ext4 with journaling) except the ESP, which works, yes, but keeps spewing an error about not being unmounted properly. As a result I have changed the ESP mount options to add "noauto,x-systemd.automount", I usually don't need to mount it at all.
