Actually, unless it tracks users, i don't think that our guidelines
forbids it, though it may influence our choice for the packages set
installed by default.

I accept some kind of prepackaged links if Mozilla doesn't allow the removal, if they point to web services and no traditional contextual ads (buy, buy, buy), and if (mandatory) any asset needed to show those links (thumbnails) are prepackaged and distributed with the binary (that could generate problems with logos and trademarks) or it is downloaded form Mozilla servers without ever sending information to third party ad servers


Has anyone tried to contact Mozilla Corporation about it so we may
discuss this based on facts ?
