Hi all,

Can someone tell me why this library is still at a very old version
packaged in Fedora? I've seen RFEs about updating it to the latest
version, but maintainer Adam Jackson hasn't done neither any to this
package still so far, nor response to any bugs.

Is this library disallowed now because it's from nvidia?
Why should a package be disallowed because it's from NVidia?

As long as a package's licensing complies to Fedora's requirements a package's origin is irrelevant.

Or it should be
retired?
Why do you think it should be?
