qemu is covered pretty well.  There are cirrus + qxl kms drivers for
quite some time already.  kms driver for '-vga std' is in -next and will
probably land in 3.14.  Only missing is vmware, where the qemu emulation
is to old or to buggy or both for the needs of the vmgfx kms driver.
