Request to takeover easytag package

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi

I posted a week ago about the non-responsive easytag package maintainer (thias, Matthias Saou):

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1044029
https://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/devel/2014-January/193301.html

Based on Peter Lemenkov’s reply, it seems that the maintainer has not been active for some time:

https://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/devel/2014-January/193302.html

I am following the non-responsive maintainer procedure, and as it has now been 3 weeks since my initial bug report, I am formally requesting ownership of the easytag package in Fedora. I have updated the packaging to 2.1.8, which has almost completed review:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=951265

As there are quite a few packages owned by the same maintainer, it might be good to mass-orphan those:

https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/users/packages/thias?acls=owner

Based on the assigned bugs in Bugzilla, it seems that Matthias is indeed unresponsive:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/buglist.cgi?bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&classification=Fedora&email1=matthias%40saou.eu&emailassigned_to1=1&emailtype1=substring&product=Fedora&list_id=2075490

Thanks!
