So, not an exact quote.  Using quote marks in this case is confusing.  I see all of this as advocacy for more than one approach.  Not replacing one with another.  If you want technical details, you can watch the presentation or talk to the developers involved including Lennart and Alex or wait till those details are flushed out before arguing against it.
