Site search engines are mostly useless to me, and I know I'm not alone. Why else would the ticket go untouched for 4 years?

Reasons against YASE (yet another search engine):
1. They provide horrible results. The Big Boys (G, Y!, B, etc.) aggregate on levels beyond what one man can program in a few hours (no offense).
2. Most people bring up one of the Big Boys to search anyway.
3. It's another piece of software Infrastructure has to maintain.
