Hi all,

FESCo accepted BlueZ 5 for F20 at yesterday's meeting and I've gone
ahead and imported it in Rawhide.

Small status report where we currently stand:

bluez - updated to 5.8

gnome-bluetooth - updated to 3.9.3 that has BlueZ 5 support

gnome-user-share - won't get ported in time for F20

pulseaudio - updated to a git snapshot with BlueZ 5 support.
Upstream is currently redoing the BlueZ 5 support,
so expect changes there before the PA 5.0 release.

NetworkManager - currently not ported in Rawhide; the NM people
                   are working on this

KDE's BlueDevil  - Rex Dieter updated it to a git snapshot last night;
some functionality (file transfer) is currently
missing, some (pairing) is working. Upstream is
                   working on this.

blueman - should get retired from rawhide, dead upstream and
                   not ported to BlueZ 5

panel applet: - for MATE/XFCE/LXDE - Blueman is going away and
mate-bluetooth isn't receiving much love upstream.
The working plan is to resurrect the applet from
                   gnome-bluetooth in a separate module. raveit65
started the work on this, but could use some help
                   there.
