The latest version, 0.11.7 won't build on a stand-alone system (ie, it assumes some of the libraries it's just built are installed already)
I was about to submit this build bug upstream.
Never mind about the build issue I mentioned... I can't duplicate it now. Move along... nothing to see here. (-:
