Hi, Just tried updating an F18 machine and got this: $ sudo yum update Loaded plugins: changelog Resolving Dependencies --> Running transaction check [...] ---> Package puppet.noarch 0:2.7.18-1.fc18 will be updated ---> Package puppet.noarch 0:3.1.1-1.fc18 will be an update --> Processing Dependency: hiera >= 1.0.0 for package: puppet-3.1.1-1.fc18.noarch --> Finished Dependency Resolution Error: Package: puppet-3.1.1-1.fc18.noarch (updates) Requires: hiera >= 1.0.0 You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest There doesn't seem to be a hiera package for F18 at all: $ sudo yum install hiera Loaded plugins: changelog No package hiera available. Error: Nothing to do It looks like the initial version of it is still in testing: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2012-15005/hiera-1.0.0-3.fc18 Regards, Rich -- Richard Fearn richardfearn@xxxxxxxxx -- devel mailing list devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/devel Fedora Code of Conduct: http://fedoraproject.org/code-of-conduct
